Responsible for the day-to-day supervision or oversight of laboratory phlebotomy services, central processing, laboratory clerical functions, and other non-technical operations as defined by a qualified Laboratory Manager/Director (not to include technical oversight of any laboratory testing). The laboratory support services supervisor is not required to be onsite at all times; however they must be available to the laboratory on an as-needed basis to provide consultation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
BS (MT) or AD (MLT) in a physical science from an accredited institution is preferred.
Registered MT/MLT or equivalent or documented evidence of specialty certification and/or additional training. Maintains current licensure and provides the hospital with a copy of indicated requirements.
One to three years of clinical laboratory experience.
