The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on the tenure track. Qualified candidates will be physician-scientists MD or MD, PhD, and be Board-certified in Neuropathology. They are expected to develop a federally funded, independent research program in the area of neurodegeneration and engage in collaborations with other researchers who study neurodegenerative diseases throughout Northwestern University.
Service responsibilities include participation in diagnostic neuropathology, which could include surgical, autopsy or neurodegenerative neuropathology, depending on the applicant’s career goals. There will be ample opportunities for mentoring and teaching graduate students, medical students and resident/fellows, as well as for service on department, school or university committees. Qualified candidates will become a leader of the Neuropathology Core of the federally funded Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center.
