The Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment, also referred to as Casey Life Skills, is a suite of comprehensive online assessments, learning plans, and learning resources that can be utilized to help engage young people whereby they can gain the life skills they need to exit residential care.. The tools are strengths-based and were built and refined with user input and research. The assessments consist of statements about life skills domains deemed critical by youth.
The staff member chosen for these positions will be able to conduct assessments for our students and customize individual or group learning plans created thru the use of the Like Skills Learning Guide and the supplemental guides made available. The life skills instructor will help the youth identify 9 life skill domains that they would like to improve using activities and exercise chosen from a comprehensive selection of criteria.
