Tampa General Hospital is looking for qualified Medical Technologists – 3rd shift in the following specialties - shift differential is available:
Responsibilities will include:
Performing all levels of moderate and high complexity testing, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
Performing routine and specialized technical analyses.
Operating and maintaining instrumentation according to established laboratory procedures and protocols.
Exercising independent judgment in recognizing and solving test related problems.
Performing technical job duties as specified in CAP Regulations. Personnel requirements for tests of moderate and high complexity - testing. Specific test procedures will vary depending on laboratory section assigned.
Performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualified candidates must have a current Florida Medical Technologist license. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or related area preferred. ASCP certification also preferred.
