WellSpan Health, a progressive Health Care System in South Central Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time key member for our residency faculty, with a broad skill set and flexibility to fulfill both fixed and novel or less defined needs within the residency program with specific focus in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). We are a 6-6-6 community hospital residency affiliated with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our Family Medicine Residency Program has maintained a 22-year long tradition in excellence in education.
About the Position
Graduate of an Osteopathic residency program in Family Medicine
Maintains certification by American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (ABOFP)
Maintains current Pennsylvania State licensure for the practice of medicine
Dedicates at least 60% of their professional time (at least 24 hours per week or 1200 hours per year) to resident education and most of their professional effort is devoted to teaching, administration, scholarly activity, and patient care within the program
Dedicates at least 3 sessions per week on average to administrative effort (not direct patient care or teaching) for the sake of the residency
Full-time position at least 0.4 FTE allocated to personal patient panel
Direct report to Program Director
Administrative support staff
Program expectations involves: general, administrative, recruiting, evaluating/advising, and academic responsibilities
