Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of clients presenting for routine
obstetrical and gynecological care, family planning or minor gynecological complaints by
means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic tests. Interprets data, develops and implements therapeutic plans.
Transfers the client to physician management or continue the care of the client in a
collaborative management arrangement with the designated obstetrician/gynecologist in
cases where medical pathology or a high risk pregnancy are identified.
Reports to Women’s Health Leadership will sit within Geisinger's footprint and will support Primary Care Physician growth.

Education and or Experience:
Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Pennsylvania State
Board of Nursing required.
Certification from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner required.
Current Pennsylvania CRNP Prescriptive Authority
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Position may require travel for outreach.
