About UCSF Fresno
The University Centers of Excellence is the faculty private practice side of Central California Faculty Medical Group. Each physician holds a faculty appointment from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) at UCSF Fresno. In 1975, the Fresno Medical Education Program was established as a clinical branch of UCSF.
The University Centers of Excellence faculty practice offices were developed to allow the community to have unprecedented access to UCSF faculty physicians. Patients are now able to receive the same world-class care
they expect to receive in larger metropolitan cities without having to travel outside of Fresno.
