Kindred Hospitals are seeking experienced Med Surg RNs with the ability to travel to be part of our new and exciting Internal Staffing Agency that will cover our hospitals in the greater Houston area! This role, where you will be based out of the location closest to your residence, provides an opportunity to be a leader in our clinical settings and help drive amazing quality care in our locations.

As the most acute level of care in Kindred's continuum, our transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit , but for an extended recovery period. Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
As a Travel Registered Nurse :
Deliver quality patient care by contributing to the nursing care plan from admission to discharge.
Prepare assessment of patient's progress and keep family informed.
Monitor pain management procedures.
Participate in the discharge planning process.
Ensure current and accurate patient documentation.
Supervise ancillary staff members.

Registered Nurse / RN Requirements:
Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse / RN or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.
Licenses/Certification: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN. BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
Experience: A Minimum 2 years of Registered nurse / RN with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
