The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Froedtert Health seeks a dynamic physician leader with proven administrative skills to lead the clinical operations of the General OBGYN practice of MCW and Froedtert Physician Group. The individual will be instrumental in advancing care delivery in existing and new ambulatory sites and provide leadership that will promote excellence, consistency and safety in the operation of our programs. The individual will also participate in recruitment, and in supporting collaborative relationships between care teams across the health system. The Generalist group consist of 40 physicians and 19 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) that practice at 12 clinic sites.
About the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has 35 faculty and 13 APPs who provide care in maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, general OBGYN, and subspecialty gynecologic services such as pediatric and adolescent care, family planning, transgender care and minimally invasive surgery, in addition to mental health and genetic services. The Department also has a very active Research and Advanced Education Division and a strong clinical trials program in gynecologic oncology and maternal fetal medicine. The Department has an ACGME-accredited Residency (32 positions) and a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gynecologic Oncology.
