Seeking a fifth BC/BE pediatric hospitalist to join our team practicing at Cottage Children's Medical Center at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Responsibilities include coverage of an 18-bed pediatric ward as well as unassigned babies in the newborn nursery
Average daily census in the pediatric ward is eight
Average daily census in the newborn nursery is twelve
No delivery attendance
Call is from home
In addition to our affiliated group of pediatric intensivists, there is full pediatric subspecialty support including but not limited to pediatric surgery, pediatric cardiology, pediatric orthopedic surgery, pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric neurology
The hospital is recognized as a regional referral center for the medical needs of infants, toddlers and children in the Tri-Counties and throughout central California
Very hands on program with a good mix of interesting patients and an amazing staff
