We are seeking an RN with experience in Cath Lab and nursing leadership for a full-time supervisory position on a busy inpatient unit.
The Asst. Nurse Manager is a professional nurse who manages the daily operations of the department to provide services for patients while meeting quality, legal, organizational and medical staff goals. Responsible for promoting the efficient operations to provide effective nursing care. Manages the department independently under the guidance of a Manager and is responsible for the department on a 24-hour basis. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO and the Nurse Practice Act. There is potential to have a patient assignment based on the needs of the unit.
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
Experience: Minimum 2 yearsï¿½ experience as an RN, with demonstrated leadership ability.
Licensure/ Certification(s): Current RN license to practice in the state of TN; American Heart Association issued BLS.
