In partnership with the Chief Quality and Safety Officer this individual will have the opportunity to take the program to the next level of eliminating serious harm from care, maximizing outcomes for patients, and engaging patients and families in achieving these goals together. This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and related tactics to achieve these goals.
Demonstrated interest and track record of participation (and preferably leadership) in safety or quality improvement in a complex health care delivery setting
Formal training in patient safety/process improvement strongly preferred
Certification as a certified professional in patient safety or quality (such as CPPS or CPHQ) strongly desired.
Working knowledge of hospital practices and protocols as well as applicable regulations and guidelines
Masters Degree in health related field or MBA
