Research Assistant I - Vanderbilt Eye Institute
Description Job Summary: Provide, under direct supervision, support for specified research projects; collect, assess, and communicate data/results. Assist in general laboratory operation and inventory. Research Information: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work in a research laboratory that studies the development of the mammalian retina. Most of the work is done with mice and molecular, cellular, and genetic techniques are used. In this position, you will work with others to perform experiments and assist in general laboratory operations including mouse husbandry and colony management. Important attributes are a strong desire to learn, organizational skills, and someone who works well with others.
