The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare, is seeking a Director of Hospital and Surgical Subspecialties. This newly created position will direct the operations of the Hospital and Surgical Specialties team and oversee the administrative management of its constituent committees, sections, and applicable groups, and the programs and projects emanating from those groups. Working in concert with AAP national advisory committees, specialty sections, task forces, and other clinical specialists/consultants, this role will implement the strategic objectives and child health priorities through the establishment of policy, advocacy, professional education, and outreach. The successful candidate will engage in a
